Assistant Branch Manager I (Full-Time, In-Person)

Pheple FCU is seeking a full-time Assistant Branch Manager I to oversee daily operations of a Tier I (specialty or low-volume) branch. This role serves as the primary on-site leader, ensuring excellent member service, and regulatory compliance while supporting the Regional Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform teller and member service duties, including account opening and loan processing

• Supervise daily branch operations, staff scheduling, and support staff performance

• Oversee cash operations, including vault, ATM, and teller drawers

• Resolve escalated member concerns professionally

• Ensure compliance with security, risk management, and operational requirements

• Represent the branch at community or sponsor-related activities as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related banking or supervisory experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills

• Accurate cash-handling and systems knowledge

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Salary Range 

• $16.47 – $24.70 per hour
